Home show features design with ‘universal’ access
The Greater Kansas City Home Show and Flower, Lawn & Garden Show, under way this weekend at Bartle Hall, includes a free-standing “universal design” home. The project of the Home Builders Association is a 1,600-square-foot structure with features that are designed to help people with age-related mobility problems or disabilities remain in their own homes.
